2. Providing the website

When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed, in particular your IP address, the time of access, the requested resource and technical information about your browser. This is necessary to deliver the content, ensure secure operation and detect errors.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and reliably. The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, in a data centre within the European Union. IONOS processes the connection data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. The web server is set up for logging that is as sparing as possible: no access logs; technical error logs may contain connection data. The intended retention period for server logs is a maximum of seven days, unless a specific security incident requires longer retention.

3. Contact by phone or email

When you contact us, we process your contact details and the content of your enquiry in order to reply and, where appropriate, prepare an offer. For pre-contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in handling enquiries.

We delete enquiry data as soon as it has been dealt with and no further retention is necessary. Statutory retention periods, for example for contract and business records, remain unaffected. Providers of business email services may be involved to the extent necessary.

4. Email preparation on the contact page

The form on the contact page prepares an email draft solely locally in your browser. The website does not transmit your entries to a form server and does not store them in a database. Only when you send the email yourself from your email program is the information transmitted to us. Processing by your email provider is governed by its privacy information. Please do not send any health data this way.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and, if given, your first name in order to send you the newsletter. Sign-up uses a double opt-in procedure: you first receive an email with a confirmation link; your subscription only becomes effective once you click it. We store the time of sign-up and confirmation as proof of your consent.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, most easily via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter or by email to info@belreisen.de. After you unsubscribe, we delete your data from the newsletter list.

The newsletter is managed with the software listmonk on our own server. For the technical delivery we use an email delivery provider based in the EU as a processor. We do not record whether or when you open a newsletter or which links you click, and we do not store an IP address at sign-up.

6. Cookies, fonts and external services

This website does not set any analytics or marketing cookies and does not use tracking. Images and fonts are delivered locally from the web server. No Google Fonts, social media plugins, maps, videos or newsletter services from third parties are loaded automatically.

External offers are accessible as links. A connection to the respective provider is only established when you follow such a link. Their privacy information applies to these offers.

7. Your rights

Within the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77), in particular in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

Right to object: Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object under Art. 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time. You can withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future.

8. Contact and supervisory authority

For data protection matters, write to us at info@belreisen.de. The competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).

Version dated 8 November 2026. This version describes the website prepared here; further processing in the context of a travel booking will be explained separately when an offer is prepared.
