Personal advice. Caring guidance. With heart.
Plan your retreat

Well organised before you set off.

Take your time to go through your personal travel offer and booking documents. Do your flight, transfer and accommodation fit together? Do you have the contact details for your arrival to hand? If anything is unclear, please get in touch with us.

To India: passport and visa.

Check in good time which entry requirements apply to your nationality and your itinerary. Your own government’s travel advice – for travellers from Germany, the India page of the German Federal Foreign Office (in German) – provides current information and links to the responsible Indian authorities. Binding entry regulations are issued by the authorities of the country you are travelling to.

For an electronic visa application, use the official Indian e-Visa portal. Check there before applying which type of visa, deadlines and documents apply to you. We are happy to help with practical questions about your journey.

Please also think about your travel insurance cover and a safely stored copy of important documents. You receive your personal travel documents directly from us; if you have questions, our page for booked guests will help.

Time for yourself begins at home.

You don’t have to follow a fixed programme before your Ayurveda journey. Perhaps it does you good to bring a little more calm into your day, sleep regularly and take time to cook. Small steps that fit your everyday life can make arriving easier.

Please discuss which food and which preparation make sense for your cure with the team treating you. Let them know about illnesses, allergies and any medication you take regularly. Only change medication or medically recommended diets after consulting your doctors.

Before travelling long-haul, plan a travel health consultation. Questions about vaccinations, medication and whether a cure is suitable for your health belong in a doctor’s hands. It is also lovely to have some time to arrive after you return home.

Less luggage. More space.

What you need depends on your destination and programme. As a starting point for your own list:

  • Travel documents, booking documents and important contact details.
  • Light, comfortable clothing for quiet days and gentle movement.
  • Suitable shoes and clothing for excursions.
  • Personal medication with the necessary documents; check import regulations beforehand.
  • Sun and mosquito protection as needed, and a suitable travel adapter.
  • A book, a notebook or simply some free time.

We will clarify with you before your journey what the resort provides and what is particularly important for your offer.

Cooking simply. Enjoying mindfully.

Our previous website presented warm dishes as inspiration for the time before your journey. Here are two easy ideas. Choose ingredients that agree with you and follow your personal dietary advice.

Warm semolina porridge with apple.

Prepare spelt semolina or a suitable alternative with water according to the packet instructions. Cut an apple into small pieces and stew it until soft with a little water. Add some cinnamon to taste and serve both together. If you have allergies or intolerances, adapt the ingredients accordingly.

Dal with rice and vegetables.

Rinse red lentils and cook them according to the packet instructions. Steam vegetables of your choice and season to taste, for example with cumin or turmeric. Serve the lentils with rice and the vegetables. A simple vegetable soup is also lovely when you would like something warm in the evening.
